What is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is a term which is used to describe a group of disorders of the eye in which there is characteristic damage to the optic nerve, which transmits signals of vision to the brain and is usually but not always associated with raised pressure inside the eye. If left untreated Glaucoma can lead to total and irreversible blindness.
