Why does Glaucoma occur?
Glaucoma usually occurs due to raised pressure in the eye which builds up because the fluid forming in the eye does not drain out properly and keeps collecting in the eye. This raised pressure is the prime cause among others to damage the optic nerve which is important to transmit visual signals to the brain.
